About Us

The Pleasure Salon was founded by Patricia Johnson, Selina Fire and Mark Michaels, after meeting at Tristan Taormino’s Dark Odyssey Summer Camp.  Inspired by the diversity of the sexual community at that event, they worked to create a monthly gathering of sex-positive people from all walks of sexual life in the New York City area.  Thus Pleasure Salon was born.

The Pleasure Salon meets the first Wednesday of the month at the Happy Ending Lounge in New York City. If you’re interested in being added to our mailing list, please email info@pleasuresalon.com, and we’ll add you to our list!

A community of New York area Pleasure Positive folks is developing rapidly. We encourage everyone who joins our gatherings to talk to people you don’t know, discovering new friends and embracing the principles of respect, tolerance, acceptance, openness, and non-judgmental support for one another.
